The next morning we had a leisurely breakfast, fortunately we didn't have to rush. We had to arrive at the port between 12:30-1:00 PM.
After breakfast, we finished packing and then we checked out. The plan was to go to the Hard Rock Hotel. Csibi found a good spot. There is a McDonald's across the street from the Hard Rock Hotel, with a superb view of the hotel from the parking lot if you just want to take a photo or two.
As we looked around, we weren't the only ones who found this parking lot an excellent photo spot. 🙂 🙂
So if you are passing by and want to take a photo, we recommend this parking lot!
By the way, on the way there we had some tricky situations because people drive like idiots here too... We managed to avoid two accidents. For me, it's pure stress. No wonder I have high blood pressure! 🙂
But we finally got there ok and from there it was only 7–10 minutes to the airport and the car rental. Luckily, the traffic was okay; we filled up the car with gas, dropped it off, and then realized we were still on time. It was about 11:40 a.m. We wandered around the airport for a bit, then agreed to grab a taxi around 12 and head out to the port.
