On May 9, 2019, in the afternoon, we drove off right after work and went to Hampton Park. This is a public park on the edge of the Charleston Peninsula.
We really like the parks. Luckily there is a lot of green space here in America. The parks are well maintained and clean, all kinds of birds fly around, and the squirrels are permanent residents.
Hampton Park is 240,000 square feet with beautiful trees and fountains. The area around the park is closed to car traffic for specific periods (from March to September). This sympathetic initiative is part of a program that aims to get as many people as possible into walking, cycling, and exercising.
